Interior Investigating Vandalism at WWII Memorial The World War II Memorial in Washington D. C. was desecrated on Tuesday morning when swastikas and other graffiti were spray painted across its walls.
The vandalism, which was removed by park rangers before authorities arrived, has sparked an investigation led by the National Park Service's Office of Law Enforcement.
According to eyewitnesses, the vandalism occurred between 6am and 9am on Tuesday, with security cameras capturing footage of individuals approaching the memorial during that time.
